2IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OPENING A NEW CARD ACCOUNT: To help the federal government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, the USA PATRIOT Act requires all financial institutions and their third-party service providers to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account. What this means for you: When you open a Card Account, we will ask for your name, street address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see a copy of your driver’s license or other identifying documents. In accordance with federal regulations, until it is activated and registered, a prepaid debit card is subject to an initial load limitation, may not be used for international transactions or account-to-account transfers, or be reloaded.
3Upon successful activation and registration of the Card Account, your funds on deposit at MetaBank, Member FDIC, are insured up to $250,000. Coverage limit is subject to aggregation of all of Cardholder’s funds held on deposit at MetaBank.

*Faster access to funds is based on comparison of traditional banking policies versus electronic direct deposit. Direct deposit and faster direct deposit capability is subject to payor’s support of the feature and timing of payor’s funding. *The Savings Account is made available to Cardholders through MetaBank; Member FDIC. To participate in the Savings Account program, Cardholder must consent to and continue receiving communications from us in electronic form. If Cardholder is subject to Internal Revenue Service backup withholding at the time of the request to open a Savings Account, the request will be declined. Interest is calculated on the Average Daily Balance(s) of the Savings Account and is paid quarterly.
• If the Average Daily Balance is $1,000.00 or less, the interest rate paid on the entire balance will be 4.91% with an annual percentage yield (APY) of 5.00%.
• If the Average Daily Balance is more than $1,000.00, the interest rate paid on the portion of the Average Daily Balance which exceeds $1,000.00 will be 0.49% with an APY of 0.50%, and the interest paid on the portion of the Average Daily Balance which is $1,000.00 or less will be 4.91%. The APY for this tier will range from 5.00% to 0.54%, depending on the balance in the account.
The interest rates and APYs of each tier may change. The APYs were accurate as of July 1, 2016. These are promotional rates and may change without notice pursuant to applicable law. No minimum balance necessary to open Savings Account or obtain the yield(s). Because Savings Account funds are withdrawn through the Card Account (maximum 6 such transfers per calendar month), Card Account transaction fees could reduce the interest earned on the Savings Account. Card Account and Savings Account funds are FDIC-insured through MetaBank, Member FDIC upon verification of Cardholder's identity. For purposes of FDIC coverage limit, all funds held on deposit by the Cardholder at MetaBank will be aggregated up to the coverage limit, currently $250,000.00.

Use our PictureIt Card Creator to customize your Purpose Card with your favorite photo for just $4.95*. It can be a picture of a special event or memory with family or friends, or it can be a photo of yourself to help deter fraud if the card is lost or stolen.
To create a customized card, simply login to your account, go to the tab labeled ‘My Account’ and click on ‘My Prepaid Cards’ then ‘Design a Card’.
*Photograph (full-size or passport-type) must meet Custom Card Image Guidelines. $4.95 fee for each Custom Card. If Custom Card is lost, stolen, or damaged, any request for: (a) a replacement Custom Card requires resubmission of image and payment of Custom Card Replacement Fee; or (b) a replacement standard Card requires payment of standard Card Replacement Fee.
To get started, enroll in direct deposit, have $200 or more direct deposited to your Purpose Card every 30 days, and you’ll be eligible to sign up for this optional service. (Other eligibility requirements apply.)
*Overdraft Protection is a courtesy available to eligible Cardholders who opt-in to participate in the service offered by MetaBank, of Sioux Falls, SD, Member FDIC. Once Cardholders opt-in and meet the eligibility requirements, the program allows them, at our discretion, to make transactions in amounts greater than the balance in the Card Account. Eligible Cardholders will be charged a $15.00 fee for each transaction that overdraws the Card Account by more than $10.00, up to a maximum of three (3) fees per calendar month. To avoid that fee, Cardholders are given 24 hours, from the time of the transaction that creates the overdraft, to add funds that bring the Card Account back to a zero ($0.00) or positive balance. Authorized purchases (Signature and PIN), as well as telephone-initiated transfers, ACH debit and ATM transactions may all overdraw the Card Account. Negative balances must be repaid within thirty (30) days. Overdrafts are paid at our discretion and we reserve the right not to pay. We typically will not pay overdrafts if a Cardholder fails to meet the program eligibility requirements or incurs too many overdrafts. Additional terms and conditions apply, including an ongoing requirement to make at least one direct deposit of at least $200.00 every 30 days. This is an expensive service and it should not be relied upon to meet your financial needs. While we do not offer any alternative overdraft or credit products to Cardholders, other products in the marketplace might be less expensive and more advantageous. Cardholders are encouraged to research those alternatives before using this service.
If Cardholders decide to no longer participate in Overdraft Protection, they may opt-out at any time by calling 1-866-387-7363 or by logging in to the online Account Center.
